Pink drugstore eye crayons, what to buy and what not to buy♥

Hello everyone!

In July, we are attending our cousin's summer wedding, of which is being held in Italy. Of course, we have been planning what kinds of makeup looks would suit our outfits, and after some great inspiration for inthefrow's video, we came to a conclusion. That of which was to have a shimmery pink eye with a purple through the crease, finished off with a spot of slightly flicked brown gel liner. Being only teens who don't earn money, it was then our quest to find products that would be long wearing in the heat, as well as look beautiful all day.

At first, the thing that we jumped to was the 'Maybelline 24 hour color tattoo', because who doesn't love this eh? But I wanted to try something different, that I haven't ventured into before. Then I came across this, the Rimmel London Eyeful eye crayon in the shade '100 Girls Only'.

At first glance, this was the one. The colour was perfect for what we wanted, it was so cheap, and all round amazing. However, DO NOT BE FOOLED! When we tried this when we got home, it was extremely greasy on the eye, so definitely not suited to hot weathers. In desperation to try and get this looking right, we tried applying to the eye with several different primer bases and powders but we had no joy. Also, we just can't seem to fathom how on earth you would get more product out of it once you had used the top? On the bottom, there is a section of black plastic, that to me indicated that it needs to be rolled up, but no, when you move that nothing happens. Whereas the pencil isn't wooden so can't be sharpened? Basically, do not buy this product! I would give you a link but I don't think there is any point... (we bought ours from ebay so it is probably discontinued in drugstores).

Then, we ventured into town to find something else. We stumbled across this, Miss Sporty's fabulous eyes glossy shadow stick in '170 strawberry coulis'.
In price comparison, the two products were virtually the same, yet the quality of this is much ,much better. It's creamy formula glides onto your eyelid perfectly and lasts a very long time. I just know that this will be perfect for our holiday and it is finally what we've been looking for.
You can buy this here.

Although i do prefer the Rimmel version shade wise, that is not something to go for due to the quality.
We are super excited to be lucky enough to be flying over to Italy very soon, and keep updated as we will be posting our wedding day guest makeup look as well as our outfits when we arrive back.

Thanks for reading,
