The time it actually snowed at Christmas, well, Boxing Day.♥

♥♥♥
Hello everyone!

You may already know that on Boxing day, a lot of areas had snow! This is so rare for our country, especially so close to Christmas, so we decided to go on a lovely walk with our best friend and our cameras before it melts. We thought it would be nice to share some of these photos with you today.

(Apologies for how messy they are..I really probably should wash them aha.)

Thank you to our best friend for a lovely afternoon, we really enjoyed it.

Bath items ~ What we got for Christmas 2014 #3. ♥

♥♥♥
Hello everyone!

Today's 'what we got for Christmas' is all about bath items. We thought it would be best to do these together because there was A LOT. People know us well and know what to buy aha! This is going to be a loooooong post, prepare yourselves!

Not in all cases did we get one of these items each, some are one of ours and some are the other, but we thought for the sake of the post we would put them together. After all, it is a shared blog.

First is of course Lush. Our big sister bought us both a 'Santa Claus' each (we think that is his name anyway) and luck has it that it is a Christmas item we haven't tried but really wanted to! Unfortunately we can't link this for you as because it is part of the Christmas range they are all gone, but he smells gorgeous and I cannot wait to try him. We might have an almighty Lush haul coming soon as they had a boxing day sale on, and we kinda went mad.

Next is all items from part of the 'I love...♥' range. This range can generally be bought anywhere but mostly at Superdrug. We got the mini shower gels in a set with a variety of scents, some shown in the photos, and they all smell beautiful and cost only £4.00. (One blog owner bought this for the other so that's how we know the price). It is the perfect gift for someone who loves baths.

(Raspberry and Blackberry is our favourite!)

We also received these exfoliating shower smoothies in three scents, 'Lemon and Lime', 'Blueberry smoothie' and 'Vanilla and ice cream'.  These are also heavily scented and are lovely! I used these tonight on my face and my skin is so soft! The scrub is not too harsh but is enough.

Some of the range is available here.

Now, we have 'The Body Shop' items. We absolutely love the body shop but don't tend to go in there often, because there is never any body in there in our local store and it feels awkward. Do you get that or is it just us? We feel pressured to buy when alone in a shop, and we have to do the... wait for the Miranda Hart quote... SWEEP BROWSE. Only our best ones and Miranda fans will understand that so if you are not one of them then were sorry! (But watch it! Aha. You will be glued). I am sure not all Body Shop stores are the same, it is just that we live in quite a small town compared to the bigger cities.
It is also quite expensive, so we would only go there if we had Birthday/Christmas money to spend. Luckily, one of our friends and our parents are brave enough to enter the shop so we had some items for Christmas. Yayyy.
(We sound like wimps/crazy psychopaths now...)

We received the body shops 'Body butter' (Chocolate scent), a couple of the shower gels, toners and shampoos, all of which smell lovely! We would for sure recommend all of them! The body butter makes your skin so very soft. All items are available on the body shop  website or in stores.

Finally, we had a bomb cosmetics set with six little chocolatey scented bath bombs. Our parents bought these so unfortunately don't know where they are from or how much they were, and feel rude asking, but I am sure they will be easy to find if you search on google or like wise.

They also come in a cute little box with a ribbon so they look like actual chocolates...mmmmm.
I'm afraid we haven't had chance to try these yet to let you know how well they work as a bath bomb, but we can tell you that they smell delicious!

I know we spoke about this before, but just as a disclaimer, we are not bragging, we just love writing about things like this and want to show our appreciation as much as possible. I love to read posts about what people receive as it gives us gift ideas in the future, and I hope you do too!

Hope you liked our day three of 'What we got for Christmas'!

Girl Online by Zoe Sugg ~ What I got for Christmas 2014 #2.♥

♥♥♥
Hello everyone!

Our next present we want to show you is Girl Online, by Zoe Sugg (Zoella). Our lovely best friend bought us this as she knew we were itching to read it, and as we opened it early (ssshhhh) we have already finished it.

Without giving too much away, the book is about a girl who suffers from anxiety and panic attacks after a car crash a few years ago, Penny. She also runs an anonymous blog called 'Girl Online' (hence the title) to share her personal feelings to others. Penny then travels to New York with her family, and meets Noah, a boy a few years older than her who plays guitar, and she instantly likes him. But he too has a secret that threatens to ruin their relationship. Penny and Noah also experience some bad cyber-bullying along the way.

This book is very much aimed at a teenage girl audience, so if you are of that age group it would for sure be a good read.

We would for sure recommend this to any teenage girl who is into blogging and that sort of thing; as I'm aware most of you are and do run your own blogs. It was very interesting for me to read because it helped me see the dangers that blogging can have if your not careful so has made me feel even more cautious when writing posts.

We are so very proud of Zoe knowing how far she has come, and having read the book, and knowing how amazing the story is for saying it is her first novel, she is truly amazing.

Girl online is available in many places a few being

Nikon Coolpix l830 ~ What we got for Christmas 2014 #1. ♥

♥♥♥
Hello everyone!

Firstly, we would like to apologise because haven't blogged since the start of December, so we are really sorry! We have plans to do a post everyday until the new year to make up for it and try to get back into the spirit. Thank you for your patience!

These blogs that we plan to do until January (approximately the 4th) will be posts of 'what we got for christmas 2014', and each one will include an individual item that we got this year that we particularly love. We are in no way bragging about our gifts, we are extremely grateful for everything we get and we feel extremely privileged. We just know that we are nosey when it comes to things like this and absolutely love knowing what everyone else got, so i hope you guys do too. Also, just because we only get chance to show you a few, that does not mean we do not love them all a lot! Thanks everyone who bought for us this year.

Today we have decided to show you our main present, our Nikon coolpix l830 that we were aware that we were getting and were so excited for! All blog pictures will now be taken on here rather than our iPad so hopefully picture quality will improve for you! Woo hoo!
(A couple of example pictures we have taken today to show the quality)

This camera is a nice one for beginners who like taking a few photos in their spare time, as it is not too much to understand but is absolutely amazing quality in the photos.

My parents bought this from argos in the sale, but I'm sure it will be available in a lot of places.

It has a 34x optical zoom and a flip out camera screen for easier access to awkward, hard to reach areas! It takes 4x AA batteries rather than a chargeable cable, and it comes with four initially to start with. It also comes with a strap and a lens cover, with a USB cable also. The flash is flip up.

We are so pleased with this present so thank you very very very much to our lovely Mum and Dad who bought us one each.

Comment below what you received this Christmas, as we said, we love to be nosey at other peoples presents for inspiration! Oh, and MERRY CHRISTMAAAAS!

Christmas is coming!

♥♥♥
Hello everyone!
So, now that it is officially December, it is safe to say that it is nearly Christmas! WOOO! I CANNOT CONTAIN MY EXCITEMENT. On Sunday, we decided to decorate our house as a family for Christmas, including buying our tree from Morrisons. We always choose a real tree, they smell so so lovely and christmassy, ahhhh. Ours is 6ft and cost £45.00, we love it! It's the best one yet!
We have taken a few pictures to share with you of what some areas of our house now look. Enjoy!
This noel plaque we have hung onto our tree, and is so gorgeous and glittery.
What would Christmas decorations be without a candle cottage?
This cute little nativity set we bought from avon a couple of years ago, and we always put it up even though we are not really religious. You can buy similar ones on ebay and if you are interested click here.
Of course, you have to listen to Christmas songs through Decemeber! Band aid 30 is our favourite at the moment.
A nice little jar of candy canes is a great idea for guests to just take one whenever they like during the festive period.

We hope you have liked looking a little bit into how we have decorated our house this year for Christmas, only 22 days now! WOOHOO!
Are you decorations up yet?
